Worship is the centre around which we build our life together. Our main service of morning worship strives to feel traditional but not stale; familiar but not cold.
In worship we can bring the fullness of our lives to God: our joy and our pain, our laughter and our tears, our hopes and our doubts, our questions and our certainty. Jesus Christ above all others understands the complexity of our humanity and loves us all the more.
Coming together, we are called to proclaim the Good News in word and deed. We are charged to go out into the world in peace, honouring all people, loving and serving the Lord.
We invite you to come and worship with us this and every week.
10:30 am. Every week.
All welcome. Worship is usually led by our minister, Rev David Prentice-Hyers. A creche is available for children aged 0 – 3 years old. Tea and coffee after the service.
10:30 am. Weekly from September to June. Replaced by a Summer Club during July and August.
For children aged 3 – 12 years old.
Sacred Grounds – Midweek Service
11:30 am. Every week with occasional breaks – see our online calendar.
All welcome. Sacred Grounds is a relaxed half hour service of worship with monthly communion. Like any worship, we reflect on the grace of God, but we do it with comfortable chairs and hot drinks! Tea, coffee and biscuits before the service; all are welcome to remain for our weekly Bible Study Uncle Calvin’s Cafe which begins at 12:10.
Lessons are read from the Revised Standard Version (RSV) Bible. We sing from Church Hymnary 4.
A loop system for the hearing impaired is available during services in the sanctuary.
Free car parking is available on-street and in nearby car parks (weekday time restrictions apply to some on-street parking).
